Historic Architecture & Location

The Grand Hotel Belvedere, a Beaumier Hotel, occupies an elevated position in the car-free village of Wengen, a 5-minute walk from the centre. Built in 1912 in Art Nouveau style, the hotel offers views of the Jungfrau mountain and the Lauterbrunnen valley. Free luggage transport from Wengen Train Station is provided upon arrival and departure.

Dining

Two on-site restaurants, Brasserie Belvedere and Sonnenbad Lounge & Terrace, serve Alpine cuisine developed by chef Will Gordon. The menu is designed for sharing or individual dining in a relaxed atmosphere. A continental breakfast buffet with hot and cold options is included.

Spa & Wellness

Brand new spa facilities include a sauna, steam room, fitness area, and two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor). The spa offers a cold plunge and panoramic views of the Jungfrau glacier from the outdoor pool. Spa/wellness packages and massage treatments are available on site.

Location & Activities

The hotel is located 400 metres from the Jungfrauregion ski area and 500 metres from Wengen railway station. Guests have immediate access to skiing, hiking, cycling, and a ski school with ski pass vendor on site. A complimentary shuttle service runs between the hotel and the train station.

Delicious Dining Experience

I was truly impressed by the dining experience at Grand Hotel Belvedere. The meals were plentiful and delicious with a buffet that offered a wide variety of creative dishes to suit all tastes. Stunning Room Views
